Ever­y­thing was excel­lent, in every way:
The orga­niza­ti­on was spec­ta­cu­lar, and it was wonderful to see the passi­on with which you do your work. The working condi­ti­ons were great, the perfor­man­ces went wonderful­ly, and the audi­ence respon­se was amazing.

After the festi­val, we stay­ed on for a few days to enjoy this beau­tiful city. Ever­y­thing was just fantastic.

So, we have nothing but words of grati­tu­de. We only wish we could have a festi­val like this every weekend 😜.

We had such an amazing time with this comple­te­ly new concept for us. We knew it was going to be a great expe­ri­ence, but honest­ly, it excee­ded our expec­ta­ti­ons by far. It was such a beau­tiful festi­val, where ever­y­thing flowed so natu­ral­ly, with so much respect, warmth, and since­ri­ty throug­hout. It was an incre­di­ble adven­ture: 9 concerts and one bal in just three days, great swims in die Aare, and fanta­stic team spirit ! A special shout-out to our sound engi­neer, Mathieu, for rising to the tech­ni­cal chall­enge — setting up and tearing down in record time (30 minu­tes) while deli­ve­ring top-notch sound!! Thanks to our enthu­si­a­stic and gene­rous audi­en­ces and to the whole festi­val team and volun­teers. We’re tired but filled with love!

È stata un’esperienza incre­di­bi­le! L’organizzazione ha pensa­to davvero a ogni dettaglio e la dire­zio­ne artis­ti­ca ha fatto la scel­ta corag­gio­sa di ingag­gi­ar­ci nono­stan­te non aves­si­mo mai suona­to prima e non aves­si­mo anco­ra mate­ria­le da mostrare.

Il pubbli­co è stato numero­sis­si­mo, calo­ro­so e genero­so, e ci ha fatto senti­re accol­ti fin dal primo momento.

Ich woll­te mich noch­mals bei euch melden und mich – auch im Namen der ganzen Band comet – von ganzem Herzen für dieses wunder­ba­re Wochen­en­de bedanken.

Vielen Dank für die wahn­sin­nig tolle Orga­ni­sa­ti­on, dafür, dass ihr uns gebucht habt und für die herz­li­che Betreu­ung. Wir haben uns bei euch rund­um wohl und bestens aufge­ho­ben gefühlt. Ein riesi­ges Kompli­ment an das ganze Team!

Wir hatten eine sehr schö­ne Zeit, wahn­sin­nig tolle Konzer­te, wunder­ba­re Begeg­nun­gen und ein gross­ar­ti­ges Publi­kum. Beson­ders berührt haben uns auch die vielen tollen und wirk­lich persön­li­chen Rück­mel­dun­gen, die wir bekom­men haben. 

Für uns war das eine sehr tolle Erfah­rung, und wir sind sehr dank­bar, dass wir ein Teil davon sein durf­ten. Wir schät­zen eure Arbeit sehr – nicht nur für uns als Band, sondern auch für die gesam­te Kultur­sze­ne. Was ihr da auf die Beine stellt und welchen Raum ihr für Musik und Begeg­nun­gen schafft, ist alles ande­re als selbstverständlich.

Wir würden sehr, sehr gerne wieder­kom­men und hoffen natür­lich, dass sich irgend­wann wieder eine Gele­gen­heit ergibt.

We got back home late this after­noon! We left early this morning, so unfort­u­na­te­ly we didn’t get the chan­ce to see each other befo­re leaving, but I real­ly wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful experience. 

You and your enti­re team have been abso­lut­e­ly amazing, making our time at the festi­val not only a great expe­ri­ence of art and work, but also a beau­tiful moment of connec­tion, sharing, and togetherness.

Der gröbs­te Rauch des Schul­an­fangs hat sich verzo­gen, und ich will dir jetzt noch im Namen von Irma Krebs inkl. Hutfrau und Tech­ni­ker von Herzen danken. Es hat uns enor­men Spass gemacht, am Buskers zu spie­len und ich hoffe, ihr seid finan­zi­ell doch noch eini­ger­mas­sen raus­ge­kom­men mit den Bändeli. 

Leider ist uns das Souve­nir zwüschena­ben gefal­len, aber wir habens nicht verges­sen und reichen es über Bidu und Melin­da noch nach.

A litt­le bela­ted — we’ve been reco­ve­ring from a HUGE weekend, hiding out in a tiny Airbnb in the French countryside…

But what an incre­di­ble time we had at the 23rd Buskers Bern Festi­val! Our very first busking festi­val, in the beau­tiful city of Bern, along­side 140 artists from 25 nations!

A massi­ve thank you to Chris­ti­ne, Julia and the whole Buskers Bern team for having us. The orga­nisers, volun­teers and audi­en­ces were all legen­da­ry and made us feel incre­di­bly welcome.

And to ever­yo­ne who came to our shows — THANK YOU! You packed them out, gene­rous­ly filled our hat, bought us comple­te­ly out of CDs, and brought such bril­li­ant ener­gy every time we played.

And a special shout-out to the crowd at our final set, when our PA failed, Juli­an broke a string AND his guitar strap fell off — leaving us to finish semi-acou­stic! Thanks for sticking with us through the tech­ni­cal chaos and seeing us through to the end.

We’re tired, sore, inspi­red… and very grateful. What a weekend! Bern, you were a blast!

Wir woll­ten uns noch bei dir und bei dem ganzen Buskers Team bedan­ken. Wir haben die drei Tage extrem genos­sen und es hat sehr viel Spass gemacht zu spie­len. Es war alles hervor­ra­gend orga­ni­siert und wir konn­ten es kaum fassen, wie reibungs­los alles gegan­gen ist – und das bei 142 Acts, 30 Bühnen, 300 Konzer­ten in 3 Tagen! Das ist nicht selbst­ver­ständ­lich, also ein riesi­ges Kompliment!!

Herz­li­chen, herz­li­chen Dank für alles!!! Wir würden uns freu­en, in Zukunft wieder mal bei euch am Buskers spie­len zu dürfen und werden sicher auch als Besucher:innen wieder mal kommen!

Für uns war das Buskers eine sehr schö­ne Erfah­rung. 
Wir waren echt beein­druckt, wie gut alles orga­ni­siert ist. Das Essen war super, was für so viele Perso­nen nicht selbst­ver­ständ­lich ist. Es hat alles reibungs­los geklappt, alle waren immer super freund­lich und hilfs­be­reit.
Ich fand es vor allem toll, wie passend die Loca­ti­ons den Acts zuge­teilt wurden. Für uns haben alle Spiel­or­te super gepasst, es gab klei­ne­re und grös­se­re ​„Bühnen“, aber alles in einem Rahmen, der für uns gut bis perfekt war.
Man merkt wirk­lich, wie unglaub­lich gut ihr euer Festi­val kennt, und dass es euch, wie du sagst, ein echtes Anlie­gen ist, Kultur auf best­mög­li­che Art zu den Leuten zu brin­gen. Dank der guten Orga­ni­sa­ti­on war das ganze Festi­val viel weni­ger anstren­gend, als ich erwar­tet hätte.

Danke, macht ihr das Buskers nach so langer Zeit immer noch mit einer so gros­sen Begeis­te­rung und Leidenschaft!

So schön, die Erin­ne­rungs­bil­der des Buskers 2025 – herz­li­chen Dank. Es war inten­siv und heiss und berüh­rend, dieses Wochen­en­de. All die Krea­ti­vi­tät auf einem Haufen, von ganz fein und leise bis gewal­tig laut und raum­grei­fend. 
Die Orte die Ihr für uns ausge­le­sen habt waren sehr passend. Merci viel­mal! Wir haben ganz schö­ne Rück­mel­dun­gen erhal­ten von den Besu­chen­den.
Und ich hoffe auch, dass eure Rech­nung am Schluss aufgeht und Ihr nächs­tes Jahr 140 ande­re fantas­ti­sche Artist:innen einla­den könnt.

I just wanted to thank you. Not only for this time, (which was a blast, a real torna­do of happi­ness) but also for taking a chan­ce on us 9 years ago. Having been at Buskers Bern in 2016 was a care­er, if not life chan­ging expe­ri­ence for us. We reali­sed that performing on the street real­ly was what we most­ly loved. Coming back was just so amazing! I hope you get some rest, it must be quite a mara­thon to get the festi­val to run like a swiss train. You should all be proud of making this wonderful, colourful, joyful expe­ri­ence year after year!

I have been touring with some of the biggest dance shows on the planet for the last 4 years I can safe­ly say the hospi­ta­li­ty you exten­ded to me whilst I stay­ed in Bern is the best I have ever recei­ved throug­hout my profes­sio­nal care­er. Between the trans­fers, to the food to ever­y­thing in between it was so well orga­nis­ed. Ich bin jedes Mal zutiefst beein­druckt und berührt über dieses fried­li­che Zusam­men­zref­fen von so vielen Menschen und v.a. von so gross­ar­ti­gen Künst­le­rin­nen und Künst­ler. Das Kuli­na­rik Ange­bot ist viel­fäl­tig und ein Genuss. Die Gesamt­or­ga­ni­sa­ti­on ist bewun­derns­wert. Es ist perfekt.

Ich bin begeistert.

Es ist jedes Mal ein riesig schö­nes Erleb­nis und für mich ein High­light jedes Jahr.

Ich hoffe sehr, dass dieje­ni­gen, die kein Bände­li kaufen, zu reali­sie­ren begin­nen, was da alles dahin­ter steckt und ihre Wert­schät­zung mit dem frei­wil­li­gen Kauf eines Bände­li zeigen. Ich fand es sehr gut, habt ihr mit dem Verkauf mehr Präsenz gezeigt und die Leute direkt angesprochen.

Einmal mehr bin ich beein­druckt vom Buskers Bern zurück­ge­kehrt. Es ist schon gewal­tig, was ihr jedes Jahr auf die Beine stellt! Es hat uns gefreut, dass Clau­dia Masika und ihre Band ihren Teil zum guten Gelin­gen beitra­gen konn­ten: alle ihre Shows waren rappel­voll und das glück­li­che Publi­kum konn­te nicht genug von ihren «good vibes» bekom­men. Danke für die Einladung!

Schön auch, dass das Berner Buskers trotz des Riesen­er­folgs eine durch und durch sympa­thi­sche Veran­stal­tung geblie­ben ist, die viel mensch­li­che Wärme ausstrahlt. Ihr bewäl­tigt eine enor­me Orga­ni­sa­ti­on, ohne in Perfek­tio­nis­mus abzu­drif­ten. Und doch klappt meis­tens alles aufs beste. So habt ihr den Good­will sowohl vom Publi­kum als auch von den Künstler*innen.

Einmal mehr genoss ich das Buskers Wochen­en­de in vollen Zügen und bin immer noch beseelt von der wunder­ba­ren, einma­li­gen Stim­mung und den unver­gess­li­chen und berüh­ren­den Künstler:innen. 1000 Dank dafür – was ihr da Jahr für Jahr auf die Beine stellt und möglich macht ist einfach unglaublich!!!

It’s Rich from the Wanton String Band. I wanted to thank you and your incre­di­ble staff for helping us with our tech­ni­cal issues yester­day. It was quite stressful but your team were so, so helpful and saved the day! We’re all so appre­cia­ti­ve! Thank you thank you 🙏

It was so love­ly to be back, we made loads of friends and had some more unfor­gettable expe­ri­en­ces. When we had a spare minu­te during the festi­val, we would often remark at how amazing it was to see such a beau­tiful city made even more beau­tiful thanks to you, the team, the peop­le of Bern and all of the amazing artists you’­ve gathe­red on your travels.
From an artis­tic stand­point, Bern was so valuable to us. We got to work­shop the live show in a comple­te­ly unique way, twea­king our perfor­man­ces and forcing us to get better. It has also brought our team, which I feel is alre­a­dy quite strong, even closer toge­ther and spark­ed so many ideas and ambitions.

once again thank you for orga­ni­zing one of the most beau­tiful events on one of the most beau­tiful places I ever been (and I’ve being around 😅) I love Bern so much that if I could I think I would live there.

Für uns war das Buskers eine sehr gut Erfah­rung. Wir waren im Vorn­her­ein biss­chen skep­tisch. Ich war nicht sicher, ob ich die ganze Rumschlep­pe­rei und die vielen Shows Nongo­ma zumu­ten kann. Ängs­te bezüg­lich Wetter und damit zusam­men­hän­gend schlech­ten Einnah­men hatte ich eben­falls. Am Ende war es für uns nebst ande­rem auch ein finan­zi­el­ler Erfolg und wir konn­ten viele CDs verkau­fen. Alles war super orga­ni­siert, und wir schätz­ten das gross­zü­gi­ge Brunch Buffet sehr. Es war super für uns, so viele Menschen errei­chen zu können. Dass Luc von Lo & Leduc eine CD von uns gekauft hat und Anto­nio Schia­va­no an eine Show kam, war ein artis­ti­sches High­light für uns. Ausser­dem sind wir jetzt viel schnel­ler im Auf- und Abbau­en von unse­rem Equip­ment, was auch cool ist :).

Vielen Dank für die Möglich­keit und das Vertrau­en.

Da ich seit 40 Jahren selber (mit bis zu 100 Veran­stal­tun­gen im Jahr) Veran­stal­ter bin, weiss ich, was du (ihr) da geleis­tet hast (habt). Das war das best­or­ga­ni­sier­te Festi­val meiner Zeit in dem Geschäft (…)

(…) Die Auftrit­te im Innen­hof der bsd und im Erla­cherhof waren natür­lich die Höhe­punk­te für uns. Da lies­sen sich die Besu­chen­den wegen der konzer­tan­ten Atmo­sphä­re eher auf Tony’s Musik ein und signa­li­sier­ten fast immer Begeis­te­rung. Dass ich auch noch beim gefühl­ten, musi­ka­li­schen Höhe­punkt meiner Bassis­ten­kar­rie­re das schwarz­gol­de­ne 20 Jahre-Buskers-T-Shirt und golde­ne Schu­le dazu anhat­te, war ein passen­der, unglaub­li­cher Zufall. (…)

(…) So habe ich mir den Sommer mit 46 Auftrit­ten zuge­packt. Bern war am schönsten!

Kurze Rück­mel­dung: TOLL, TOLL einfach TOLL!!!! Was ihr da leis­tet! Wir sind begeis­tert, auch vom dies­jäh­ri­gen Buskers und WOW, 20 Jahre! Die Stadt ist in einer so supri­gen Stim­mung, alles (was wir um uns herum sahen) war fried­lich, zufrie­de­ne Gesich­ter bei Künstler:innen und Pubi­kum, so viel­fäl­tig das Programm, die Essstän­de genau rich­tig verteilt, alle, wirk­lich alle freund­lich und aufgestellt… 

So etwas in dieser oft trau­ri­gen Welt auf die Beine zu stel­len ist gross­ar­tig! Ich/​wir haben nur die gröss­ten Lobes­wor­te für euch!

Bitte lasst euch nicht durch Neider oder frus­trier­te Kommentarschreiber:nnen runter­zie­hen – da ist nichts gerecht­fer­tigt! Heute können wir leider nicht dabei­sein – aber nächs­tes Jahr bestimmt wieder. Geniesst es heute, wenn ihr dazu kommt, und seid stolz auf das, was ihr bewirkt!

I spent half the day in the compa­ny of my great friend Tom Greder and his son Elmo and then he drove me to Buskers Bern in Switz­er­land where I was trea­ted to cake and had a very warm welco­me. It’s a massi­ve three day festi­val, one of the best of its kind and I feel very lucky to be here.

It was great. I mana­ged to get a group of 10 to 15 peop­le on Thurs­day Friday. Few of us went to Busker­haus as well. Ayom had great perfor­mance. On Satur­day also the band groups were nice. 
Best show was the Come­dy Acro­ba­tic show at the Muns­ter­platz. Also the Hava­na Acro­ba­tic show was cool. 
I think the Baskery band was quite enter­tai­ning. And the 🦕 were quite funny. 
We all were so happy. And great­ly looking forward to next year.

Ich, 63 Jahre alt, bin mit meiner erwach­se­nen Toch­ter zum ersten Mal ans Buskers Bern gereist, von Basel aus.
Es hat alle unse­re Erwar­tun­gen getopt! Sensa­tio­nell was ihr zu Stan­de gebracht habt! Eine so tolle Stim­mung durch alle Gassen und Bühnen, hatten sogar die Chan­ce in Javier Arand­as Finger­thea­ter rein­zu­kom­men, gross­ar­tig. Auch die Hair­sty­ling- und Schmink­stän­de, eine unglaub­li­che Aufwer­tung des herkömm­li­chen Outfits! Erfah­ren durch den World Music Spezi­al, Radio SRF, erkann­te ich auch eini­ge Bands und durf­te sie jetzt live erle­ben, fantas­tisch!

von nah und fern zu moti­vie­ren, ein Bände­li zu erste­hen, wenn das
Programm so wahn­sin­nig viel­fäl­tig, bezau­bernd, heiter, glück­see­lig­keit­stif­tend, herz­er­wär­mend, tanz­bein­schwin­gend, rockend und
swin­gend, atem­still­stand­ge­fähr­dend und lach­mus­kel­stra­pa­zie­rend ist.

Merci habt ihr alle es möglich gemacht, dass die schöns­ten drei Tage in der Stadt Bern wieder für alle erleb­bar waren.

P.S.: das Soli­bän­de­li ist so was von gut!!!!! Und die Bühne im Nydegg­hof ist so gut, dass es kaum vorstell­bar ist, dass es sie mal
nicht gab.

I have retur­ned now from my vaca­ti­on and Javier has told me that the Buskers Bern has been a wonderful expe­ri­ence for Héctor and hims­elf.
The recep­ti­on of the public was extra­or­di­na­ry, as well as the team welco­ming and the atmo­sphe­re of the Festi­val.
So just thank all the staff who have work­ed hard to get this off the ground.

Thank you so much for having us! To say we had a fanta­stic time would be an under­state­ment. The festi­val, city and peop­le were amazing, we didn’t want to leave. Buskers 2022 war super und gehört für mich zu den Top Events in Bern wie die Street­pa­ra­de zu Zürich! Frage: Mich würde es inter­es­sie­ren, wie die Abfall­bi­lanz aussieht. Das Konzept mit dem Depot­geld für Becher und Teller war super! Es wäre doch wich­tig aufzu­zei­gen, dass Gross­an­läs­se nicht zwin­gen­der­mas­sen Riesen­ab­fall­ber­ge (wie Street­pa­ra­de) hinter­las­sen.

Danke an alle, die bei diesem Festi­val dabei waren. Es war der Hammer. 3 Tage lang ein fried­li­ches Stras­sen­künst­ler­fes­ti­val für jedes Alter, Musik­style, hung­ri­ge und durs­ti­ge Bäuche, ach… Einfach fantas­tisch… M.

This festi­val is some­thing beyond incre­di­ble. We atten­ded the festi­val now the second year in a row and we are once again amazed. The atmo­sphe­re, the music, the city, the river, the orga­ni­sa­ti­on, the system, the food, the parties, the venues. But most of all – the peop­le, the peop­le, the peop­le. So much inte­gri­ty, so much talent, so much warmth, so much profes­sio­na­lism, so much diver­si­ty, so much crea­ti­vi­ty, so much love, so much so much so much. Our hearts are filled with all of this and as artists we want to give a HUUUGE shout out for the Buskers Bern festi­val orga­nisers and encou­ra­ge all the festi­vals, big and small, to get inspi­red by what they do and how well they mana­ge it. Thank you all the amazing fellow artists, the orga­nisers, the staff, the audi­ence and the volunteers.

Liebes Buskers Bern ! wir woll­ten auch noch­mal DANKE sagen: danke für diese tolle Erfah­run­gen und die inten­si­ve Zeit, die wir dank euch in den schö­nen Gassen von Bern erle­ben durf­ten, egal ob im strö­men­den Regen, an einer der größ­ten Touri-Ecken der Schwei­zer Haupt­stadt, vor euren wunder­schö­nen Dom oder direkt bei eurem Rathaus! jede musi­ka­li­sche Kund­ge­bung unser­seits war ein Trip, eine Heraus­for­de­rung und ein wahn­sin­nig schö­nes nach­hal­ti­ges Erleb­nis – was wir schon allein daran merken das zwei Wochen nach dem Gesche­hen diese Zeilen hier zu schrei­ben uns erschei­nen als wäre es vor fünf Minu­ten gewe­sen – Daaan­ke natür­lich auch an Ilana Walker für den tech­ni­schen Support – du bist eh die geils­te aber das weißt du ohne Über­trei­bung auch !!! und danke auch an Juli­en Tschülls Honeg­ger, Magda Lena Bienert, Matil­da SMART und alle die spon­ta­nen ande­ren Helfer für den Einsamm­lungs­sup­port

What an amazing expe­ri­ence at the Buskers Bern festi­val!
We had wonderful 3 days of dancing and singing with peop­le in the streets, we met great artists and bands from all over the world all toge­ther in a beau­tiful city called Bern, the ener­gy was amazing in the city with peop­le smiling ever­y­whe­re.
Great hospi­ta­li­ty from the orga­niza­ti­on of the festi­val, and of cour­se the river was incre­di­ble.
Don’t hesi­ta­te to visit the festi­val next year, and stay tuned to hear all about our coming concerts and tours.

Eine letz­te Gute-Nacht-Geschich­te von der Echse in der Brunn­gas­se und das wunder­vol­le Buskers Bern schließt für dieses Jahr die Tore. Was für ein tolles Festi­val und eine gran­dio­se Orga­ni­sa­ti­on. Danke an alle, die mitge­hol­fen haben! Und danke an die vielen neu gewon­ne­nen Berner Echsen­freun­de für Eure Begeis­te­rung.. Die unglaub­li­che Nähe zum aufmerk­sa­men Publi­kum, die magi­sche Entfal­tung unse­rer Musik im Innen­hof, die tanzen­den Kinder vor den Bühnen und das stets hilfs­be­rei­te Buskers­team, das alles und vieles mehr waren wunder­schö­ne Momen­te, die wir noch lange in Erin­ne­rung behal­ten werden.
Das Buskers Bern hat uns und unse­re Musik einen Riesen­sprung nach vorne gebracht und dafür sagen wir Merci!
Wir ziehen den Hut vor soviel Herz­blut und wünschen euch viel Ener­gie und Freu­de für die weite­ren Buskers, die noch kommen mögen.

It was an abso­lu­te blast to end our crazy summer tour in Bern, your festi­val is so great! You should be extre­me­ly proud.
As an artist, I feel that we should have more of these kinds of festi­vals in the world where audi­ence parti­ci­pa­ti­on meets the quali­ty street art in a very human and cross­cul­tu­ral way. We since­re­ly hope to be back at Buskers Bern, congra­tu­la­ti­ons on your hard work. […] And we will spread the good word around about the festi­val.

Das Buskers Bern ist als Festi­val nicht zu über­tref­fen: Alles ist liebe­voll und doch super profes­sio­nell einge­rich­tet, das Publi­kum erscheint zwar in Scha­ren, ist aber trotz­dem offen, inter­es­siert und zu allem bereit, Essen, Betreu­ung und Hutgeld waren hervorragend. […]

10 concerts de rue en 3 jours! C’était trop cool, merci à tous les Bernois et un immense merci au Buskers Bern et à tous les autres super artis­tes qu’on a pu croi­ser dans ce rues (et merci Juli­en Uribe tu fais un boulot tout à fait formi­da­blem­ent excep­ti­on­nel parait!)

Woooooo­aaaaah we have quite lite­ral­ly had some of the most epic shows to date at Buskers Bern. This is one of 4 sections of the crowd at our cathe­dral pitch last night.
4 shows this evening, the final being in the Buskers house at 3am. Bring all of your energy …

It’s been a month now that we left Bern and we are still feeling the ener­gy of the festi­val!!! We want you to know that we’ve been to amazing places and venues around Euro­pe, but the Buskers Bern expe­ri­ence is one of our favo­ri­te ever!!
We had one of the best times of our lives, we made new friends from all over the world and we admi­red how all your team and volun­teers work toge­ther to give this amazing result. It was an honor for us to play there and work with your fanta­stic team and along with all these wonderful artists!
Congra­tu­la­ti­ons to all of you and thank you for you hospi­ta­li­ty and your ener­gy. This is defi­ni­te­ly not the last you’ll hear from us!

Unfort­u­na­te­ly we had to leave early morning yester­day without saying good­bye (I guess ever­y­bo­dy was still slee­ping). Today we start at the Boule­vard Festi­val here in the Nether­lands.
I now under­stand the Busker way of coll­ec­ting money…and It was real­ly special to see how this works in Zwits­er­land. We wish you a very good and healt­hy summer and thank you for your great hospitality.
