Morgen star­tet Buskers Bern zum 23. Mal – und es gibt wieder viel zu entde­cken! Ein Riesen­fla­min­go stakst durch die Gassen, Akro­ba­tik wird auf Höchst­ni­veau präsen­tiert und satte Bläser­sets paaren sich mit elek­tro­ni­schen Klän­gen und moder­nem Jazz. Abwechs­lungs­reich, gross­ar­tig, exzep­tio­nell – kurz gesagt: eine süsse Verfüh­rung auf allen Ebenen!

Seit Montag sind wir in der Berner Altstadt und verle­gen Kabel, trans­por­tie­ren Unmen­gen von Mate­ri­al, rich­ten Räume ein und versu­chen, den Über­blick zu behal­ten. Gestern sind bereits die ersten Artists aus Südfrank­reich einge­trof­fen. Heute geht es Schlag auf Schlag weiter – wir erwar­ten 176 Perso­nen aus 25 verschie­de­nen Nationen. 

Morgen ab 18 Uhr heisst es: 3 Tage Ausnah­me­zu­stand in der Berner Altstadt!

Die genau­en Auftritts­zei­ten und ‑orte der Grup­pen findest du nur in der gedruck­ten Ausga­be des Programm­hefts. Dieses kannst du zusam­men mit dem Festi­val­bän­de­li an den Info­stän­den und bei den flie­gen­den Verkäufer:innen direkt am Festi­val oder an einer der Vorver­kaufs­stel­len in Bern kaufen. Das Festi­val­bän­de­li gilt als 3‑Ta­ges-Festi­val­pass und ist unschlag­bar güns­tig!

Bis heute Mitt­woch, 15 Uhr kannst du Festi­val­bän­de­li & Programm­heft noch online bestel­len, dann soll­test du es morgen in deinem Brief­kas­ten haben. Später bestell­te Arti­kel können im Festi­val­bü­ro, Schlacht­haus Thea­ter, Rathaus­gas­se 20, abge­holt werden.

Die Artist:innen am Buskers Bern erhal­ten keine Gage – dein Hutgeld ist ihr Lohn. Nimm Bargeld mit und hono­rie­re die Shows gross­zü­gig. Vielen Dank!

Mit dem Soli/Gönner:innen-Bändeli (à Fr. 30. – ) kommst du in allen drei Näch­ten gratis an die After­par­ty, in das Buskers­haus in der Turn­hal­le im Progr. Es spielt jeweils eine Buskers Band pro Abend, danach wird zum Jam geladen.

Das Kinder­pro­gramm auf der Müns­ter­platt­form beginnt am Frei­tag und Sams­tag bereits um 15 Uhr.

Plane deinen Festi­val­be­such mit Hilfe des Programm­hefts und finde dich ca. 15 Minu­ten vor Show­be­ginn beim Spiel­ort ein, so hast du sicher einen guten Platz. Damit möglichst viele etwas sehen, gilt: vorne sitzen, hinten stehen. Heis­ser Tipp: Camping­ho­cker (zu kaufen im Festi­val­bü­ro).

Hono­rie­re die Shows gross­zü­gig – nimm Bargeld mit. Gros­se Noten wech­seln wir an allen Info­stän­den in klei­ne­re Noten und Münzen.

Ohne Bände­li kein Festival

Mit dem Geld vom Bände­li-Verkauf finan­zie­ren wir das ganze Festi­val wie z.B. Trans­port, Verpfle­gung und Über­nach­tung der Artists, die gesam­te Infra­struk­tur wie Bühnen oder WCs, die Fahr­um­lei­tun­gen, Bewil­li­gun­gen, Löhne, Mieten, Tech­nik etc.

Tomor­row, Buskers Bern kicks off for the 23^rd time – there’s plenty to disco­ver once again! A giant flamin­go wadd­les through the alley­ways, acro­ba­tics are perfor­med to the highest stan­dard, and rich brass sections blend with elec­tro­nic sounds and modern jazz. Varied, magni­fi­cent, excep­tio­nal – in short: a sweet treat on every level!

We’ve been in Bern’s Old City since Monday, laying cables, trans­port­ing vast quan­ti­ties of equip­ment, setting up venues and trying to keep on top of ever­y­thing. The first artists from the South of France arri­ved yester­day. Today, things are moving at a rapid pace – we’re expec­ting 176 peop­le from 25 diffe­rent countries.

Tomor­row from 6 pm, it’s three days of pure madness in Bern’s Old City!

Programme: who, where, what

You find the exact perfor­mance times and venues for the groups only in the prin­ted versi­on of the program­me, our program­me book­let. You can buy it, toge­ther with the festi­val brace­let, at our infor­ma­ti­on booths and from street vendors direct­ly at the festi­val, or at one of the advan­ce sale points in Bern. The festi­val brace­let is valid as a 3‑day festi­val pass and is unbeat­a­b­ly good value.
Prices: Soli (patrons) CHF 30. –, stan­dard CHF 20. –, child­ren up to and inclu­ding 12 years of age CHF 5.– (exclu­ding programme).

Order both brace­let & program­me book­let online until today, Wednes­day, 3 pm; you should then recei­ve them in your letter­box tomor­row. Items orde­red after that time can be coll­ec­ted from the festi­val office at Schlacht­haus Theat­re, Rathaus­gas­se 20.

Good to know...

Artists at Buskers Bern do not recei­ve a fee – your hat money is their only earnings at the Festi­val. Bring cash with you and reward artists gene­rous­ly for their shows. Thank you very much!

With the Soli/­pa­tron-brace­let (Fr. 30.-) you have free access to the after­par­ty, our Buskers­house at Turn­hal­le in Progr, on all three nights. One Buskers band plays each evening, follo­wed by an open jam session.

The Kid’s Program­me on the Müns­ter­platt­form (in the Cathe­dral’s Park) starts at 3pm on Friday and Saturday.

Plan your festi­val visit with the help of the Program­me Book­let and get to the venues about 15 minu­tes befo­re the show starts to make sure you get a good spot. To make sure that as many visi­tors as possi­ble can see some­thing: sit at the front, stand at the back. Hot tip: Camping Stools (for sale at the Festi­val Office).

Your contri­bu­ti­on into the hat is their fee. Bring along cash and be gene­rous. You can chan­ge your big bills into coins and small bills at the infor­ma­ti­on stands at the festi­val.

No Brace­let – No Festival

We use the money from the sale of festi­val brace­lets to finan­ce the whole festi­val, for instance trans­por­ta­ti­on, food and accom­mo­da­ti­on for the artists, the enti­re infra­struc­tu­re such as stages or toilets, traf­fic diver­si­on, wages, rents, tech­ni­cal equip­ment etc.
