20 Jahre Buskers Bern! Wow – was für ein Jubiläum. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass das Festival so unglaublich frisch und kreativ geblieben ist.

Als wir vor gut 20 Jahren angefragt wurden, mit einem Gastrostand am Buskers-Festival dabei zu sein, kamen wir zuerst ins Grübeln: Buskers was!? Wir liessen uns vom umtriebigen und leidenschaftlichen OK erklären, dass dies etwas mit fantastischen Strassenmusiker:innen sein solle. Daneben gebe es dann noch eindrückliche Akrobat:innen, Streetperformer:innen und Tänzer:innen. Und das alles auf der welt- schönsten Bühne: der Berner Altstadt. Klar, dass wir – wie auch viele Berner:innen – von dieser wunderbaren Idee sofort angesteckt wurden!

20 Jahre und zehntausende Quarkini – unsere kulinarische Liveshow auf dem Rathausplatz – später, ist unsere und ganz sicher auch deine Begeisterung noch immer mindestens so hoch wie das Münster.

Merci, merci, merci an alle Beteiligten – und an die gut mit Nötli und Münz gefüllten Hosensäcke!

20 years of Buskers Bern! Wow – what an anniversary. We are very happy that the festival has remained so incredibly fresh and creative.

When we were asked about 20 years ago to be part of the Buskers Festival with a food truck, we were sceptical at first: Buskers What!? We let the busy and passionate organizing commitee explain to us that this would be something with fantastic street musicians. There would also be impressive acrobats, jugglers and magicians. And all this on the world's most beautiful stage: the Old Town of Bern. It goes without saying that we – like many Bernese – were immediately convinced of this wonderful idea!

20 years and tens of thousands of Quarkini – our culinary live show on the Rathausplatz – later, our enthusiasm and certainly yours as well is still at least as high as the Münster.
